Georgia Salute to High School Football
In a continuing effort to support the game of football at all levels throughout the state, the Atlanta Falcons have developed an appreciation program intended to recognize and salute all GHSA-affiliated High School Football teams.

In 2008, the program gave an opportunity for GHSA schools to attend an Atlanta Falcons home game, courtesy of the Falcons.  Teams had an opportunity to request tickets for one of the Falcons home games.  In exchange, the Falcons asked each team to provide one helmet that would be used for the Salute to Georgia High School Football Helmet Display.  Thanks to the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, the display is a permanent fixture at the Dome and is located at the lower Gate C at the Georgia Dome, highlighting the significance of high school football to the sport as a whole.

The helmet display currently includes all helmets received by October 30, 2008.  Helmets received after October 30 will be added at a later date. Those high schools that have not sent their new, gently used, or refurbished helmet with facemask and are interested in representation should contact Kendyl Moss, Director of Community Relations for the Atlanta Falcons, at 404-367-2064 or kmoss@falcons.nfl.com as soon as possible.
