Q: Thoughts on the Falcons' private workout
Houston: It went very well. The coaches were very down-to-earth and they seemed very pleased with my workout.
Q: What specifically did they want to evaluate in the workout?
Houston: They wanted to see me play off, instead of a man technique. I haven't really played that technique, so I guess they wanted to see how I handled it.
Q: How did it feel to know that the Falcons traded up for your selection?
Houston: It felt great because it showed that they had a great deal of confidence in me. It was a blessing because I enjoyed watching the team, and to know now I am part of it.
Q: How is it going to feel lining up on the opposite side of Deangelo Hall?
Houston: I know Deangelo is a hard worker and I know that I will learn a great deal just being around a player of his caliber.
