FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons Wednesday waived running back Artose Pinner and signed free agent offensive lineman Pat McCoy.
McCoy, 6-5, 328 pounds, spent the last two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles after originally being signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2006 out of West Texas A&M. He spent his entire rookie season on the Eagles active roster and saw time on Philadelphia’s 53-man roster and practice squad this season, but has not played in a game.
Pinner competed in six games with the Falcons after being signed following the season opener. He recorded five carries for 46 yards and tallied a season-long 49-yard rush on an Atlanta fake punt against Tennessee.
