Wide Receiver Harry Douglas

Q: How does it feel to grow up in Georgia and get drafted by the Falcons?
A: “It feels good and it’s a great experience. Since December, the whole process has been great and overall, I’m proud to be an Atlanta Falcon.”

Q: Did you grow up watching the Falcons, and if so, what are your favorite memories as a fan?

A: “Yes I did watch the Falcons growing up. My all-time favorite memory growing up was attending the Super Bowl when they played in Miami.”

Q: Does your brother play basketball?

A: “Yes, my brother is the starting point-guard for Florida State.”

Q: Originally you attended Auburn, what persuaded you to attend Louisville?
A: “I originally committed to John L. Smith. He was there when I committed, but he left. The tight end coach, Greg Nord, at Louisville helped to persuade me. The facilities were great, they had a passing offense and they had a great law school too. During that time, I was really interested in studying law. That played a huge part in it. Overall, it felt like a home away from home.”

Q: Are you pleased with how your career turned out at Louisville?
A: "Yes I am. I am very thankful for attending Louisville. That school is the reason why I’m in the position I’m in right now. I’m pleased with how I did at the University of Louisville.”

Q: Did you know that the Falcons were going to draft you?
A: “My mother thought they were going to pick me. Whenever my mom has a feeling, she’s never wrong. I guess she’s right again.”

Q: How do you feel about some of the players who are currently part of the receiving corps in Atlanta, and how do you feel about playing with them?
A: “I feel good about playing with them. I watched those guys last year and I feel like we’re going to have a great offense this year. We’re going to do some great things.”
