The Atlanta Falcons would like to recognize the following acts and programs to the Georgia Dome for Friday's game against the Titans.
Color Guard
Riverside Military Academy Color Guard
Riverside Military Academy is Georgia’s premier college preparatory academy for young men in grades 7th-12th. Riverside’s rich history has help develop young men for over 100 years. The academy is proud of their 100 percent college acceptance rate for the previous nine years, with many young men accepting athletic scholarships. Located just one hour north of Atlanta in Gainesville, the beautiful 236-acre campus is located on the shores of Lake Lanier. Today, the pride of Riverside Military Academy, Riverside’s Color Guard, represents their academy and the guests of the Georgia Dome with the presentation of colors. Members of Riverside Military Academy’s Color Guard are the leaders among campus, which promote pride, citizenship and respect through the display of the flag. This group of outstanding young men represents the academy at many local and national community events including the upcoming Atlanta Veterans Day Parade, which will be held on Nov. 11, 2008 in downtown Atlanta. Glenwood Hills Panthers vs. Locust Grove Hurricanes
In celebration of the NFL’s Play Football month, the Atlanta Falcons are proud to host the Glenwood Hills Panthers vs. the Locust Grove Hurricanes (both teams consist of their 7-8 year old players). The Glenwood Hills Panthers (in white jerseys) are coached by Head Coach Francisco Hunter, Cedric Clarke, Germain Gardner, Gerald Hatchet Sr., Gerald Hatchet Jr., Nadric Jaddar, Kenneth Washington, Andrew Morton and Greg Bennett. The Locust Grove Hurricanes (in orange jerseys) are coached by Head Coach Robert Quinton, Ken Hawkins, Jason Sanders and Ron McDaniels.
