Asia’h Epperson
Asia’h entertained us on American Idol during this past season as a finalist. You may remember her from her inspirational audition here in Atlanta where she showed great bravery and strength performing only days after her father’s passing in an automobile accident. Asia’h, age 20, was born in Joplin, Mo., but now resides in Marietta. She attended Harrison High School in Cobb County & graduated from Marietta High School. Asia’h loves singing, acting, dancing, fashion and sports. She has performed the National Anthem for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, and helped the Children’s Hospital in New York with raising funds amongst many other public services. In addition to California, New York and Missouri, she has performed in New Jersey, Oklahoma and Georgia. Since American Idol, she has been performing gigs and making contacts for her future development in the entertainment industry. For more information on Asia’h visit http://www.myspace.com/asiahe.

Halftime
University of Georgia Redcoat Band
Originally started in 1905 as a section of the UGA Military Department, the University of Georgia Redcoat Band has grown in the last 100 years from 20 military cadets to more than 350 men and women covering almost every major at the University. The band’s first non-military performance was not at a football game, as many would think, but the 1906 Georgia-Clemson baseball game! The Redcoats are directed by Dr. Mike Robinson, the new Director of Athletic Bands and Assistant Director of Bands at The University of Georgia. He directs the Redcoat Marching Band and oversees all aspects of the Athletic Band Program in addition to conducting the Symphonic Band and teaching courses in music education. Don’t miss a special performance by the University of Georgia Redcoat Band.
