Head Coach Andy Reid

On injuries sustained during the game:
“[TE] L.J. Smith has a concussion. [WR] Jason Avant has upper back spasms. He got twisted and we couldn’t get him out of the spasm part. [QB] Donovan [McNabb] got poked in the eye on the play on which he was down, but he was okay. [CB] Asante [Samuel] came out for a couple of plays because he got hit in the quad, but he’s okay there.”

On the win:
“I thought it was a good football game. There were plenty of good things, but plenty of things that we can work on. We feel good about [the win] against a good football team. I thought it was nice to have [RB] Brian Westbrook back in there, and obviously he had a big day. It was nice to see [CB] Lito [Sheppard] come right back after being called for the pass interference. We always talk about that – rebound, short memory, strong mental attitude – all of those things. He came back with an interception and made a couple of nice plays down the stretch there. We started slow, but I thought we finished strong. It’s something that we will continue to build on as we get ready for our next opponent. I will say this – the Atlanta Falcons, [head coach] Mike [Smith] has done a great job with that football team. They have some young players there that I think are tremendous players.”

On why Brian Westbrook was able to have success running the ball against Atlanta:
“You have to dial him up first. He was dialed up, and he did a nice job. I thought our offensive line did a nice job in there. I mentioned before that [Atlanta DT] Grady Jackson is an immovable object and he’s tough to run against. Our guys were able to cover him up at times and get bodies on bodies, and Brian took care of the rest.”

On how he feels after capturing his 100th career NFL head coaching victory:
“That’s a good question. I’m glad we won, and I don’t get too caught up in the other stuff. It feels like the first one.”

On whether he had a good view of the final punt muffed by Atlanta’s Adam Jennings:
“I got as good of a look as I could from the sideline. The guys upstairs obviously saw it. They had a better picture, they saw it hit him, and that was the deal.”

On whether he feels fortunate that the Falcons were out of timeouts and not able to challenge the ruling on the muffed punt:
“That’s a good thing. I’m not going to say I don’t feel fortunate, but saying that means that the officials weren’t right, and I’m not going to say that. I thought it was a good call.”

On whether Donovan McNabb played with a different mindset after suffering an eye injury:
“We started out a little bit slow all the way around offensively. He had some throws there that he’d like to have back, but with great quarterbacks, that’s going to happen. You have to allow them to continue to fire and throw the football so that they can work themselves right into rhythm. That’s what he did, and I thought he had a heck of a game.”

On whether he is disappointed the Eagles struggled offensively in short yardage situations:
“These one-foot things, we have to change this. We’re going to keep working on it. We’ve been working on it, but we’re going to keep working on it.”

On whether the officials blew a third-down short yardage play dead prior to Brian Westbrook reaching his arm past the first down marker:
"I don’t know that. I can’t answer that.”

On why McNabb was able to run effectively against Atlanta:
“I think he feels better. He’s coming off the chest [injury], and it was very tender there for a couple of weeks. He was able to get more involved and move the ball with his legs.”

On McNabb’s decision to run on key plays against the Falcons:
“It was just a matter if it was there. He’s healthy, it was there, and he took it.”

On the Eagles opening the day with a victory prior to Game Four of the World Series in the sports complex:
“I’m glad that we had a chance to start it off right. I know [Phillies manager] Charlie [Manuel] is going to finish it up right, and The Who are going to be out of this world.”

On the concussion suffered by L.J. Smith and the personal foul penalty assessed to Atlanta safety Lawyer Milloy:
“You saw by the players’ reaction on both sides of the ball that they knew that it was one of those things where it was a bang-bang deal. It is an emotional game, and sometimes things happen. I hated to see it happen to L.J. He was having a heck of game. That’s part of the game. Lawyer is not a cheap-shot guy, that’s not his deal. He’s been in this league a long time and he’s a clean player. For whatever reason, that one slipped by.”

On Brian Westbrook’s return to the lineup following a rib injury:
“I think he felt pretty good. I thought he got a little bit tired towards the end. We spotted him with [Correll] Buckhalter, but there was a point there on the last series where he didn’t want to come out. He wanted to stay in, he wanted the football, and we gave it to him.”

On the Eagles establishing their first winning streak of the season and the team’s continued success following a bye:
“I don’t get into all those things. We took care of business today, we did what we needed to do to win the football game, and now we’ll get ready next week for a road trip up to Seattle. We’ll take that one as it comes. I don’t get caught up into streaks and the byes, and other stuff. You guys [the media] can take care of all of that.”

On the contributions of Brian Westbrook in the win despite limited practice:
“He’s a great football player. Great football players step up when their team needs them, and Brian did that today.”

On whether he considered using a replay challenge on the third-down play during which McNabb was marked inches short of the goal line:
“My guys upstairs said that we weren’t there. It didn’t look like we got it from the sidelines, nor after we checked the replays.”

On the effectiveness of the Eagle offense when McNabb is a threat to run:
“Obviously the threat of his running ability is important. As a [defensive] coordinator, there are certain coverages that you’re a little nervous to play with a mobile quarterback. [Atlanta] sort of mixed those coverages in there in the past, so that was a help.”

On what a coach does when a quarterback is struggling to find a rhythm early a game:
“You keep dialing him up, and you give him his best stuff. If you haven’t been doing that, then that’s what you do.”

On the personal foul penalty assessed to Eagles defensive end Trent Cole on a first quarter sack:
“I can’t answer that. Go back and look at the tape, and if they have a close-up of me, you’ll know how I felt.”

On the return of wide receiver Kevin Curtis:
“I thought Kevin did some good things. I thought he got a little bit tired, but that’s okay. He’ll have time to rest for next week and he’ll be better off next week.”

Quarterback Donovan McNabb

On what happened to his eye:
“I don’t know, I have to watch the film, but all I remember is getting the ball out and trying to avoid the hit and got poked in the eye.  From then on, everything kind of got blurred and then my vision came back as I took a knee.  It’s a tough deal.  It feels like somebody just kind of poked your pupil in.  The first thing I did was reach and see if it was bleeding.  Other than that, I tried to get my vision back and then tried and go out and make some plays.”

On his performance after getting hit in the eye:
“I think I’m beginning to get comfortable.  In the first half I felt like I was kind of forcing the issue a little bit and trying to wait for the guys to break free and then I was just getting on top of balls instead of just being relaxed.  I thought later on in the first half I began to get comfortable and kind of just placed balls in different spots.  In the second half, I just fed off of that and we did an excellent job with those guys.  It was good to get Kevin [Curtis] involved a little bit and L.J. [Smith] involved early. DeSean [Jackson] obviously has carried the ball around.  They came in here pretty good.  It was a test for us and I think the things we were able to do we will be able to feed off more going into Seattle.

On his running performance:
“I do have a greater appreciation for the ability that I have. Not that I have taken it for granted in any way. I think that just over the years you kind of get comfortable in going where guys are trying to get the ball out of your hands.  In those situations, I had pressure in my face and wasn’t able to see down field as well as I wanted to and tried to buy time and just took off  on the first scramble to get away from John Abraham and try to pick up more yards. I think I did good and it showed the team that I know that I can get out of the pocket, but now that I did it, it shows them that it could happen as well.”

On the frustration of not being able to score on the goaline:
“It is frustrating.  I mean you drive down there and get a penalty and to be down there on the half yard line and not score, it is frustrating.  It is something as players you get upset about because you can’t get a half yard and running the quarterback sneak it seemed like everybody in the stadium knew that was coming.  So I guess you guys won’t talk about how come we don’t run the sneak.  We have to get in the endzone.  If we score a touchdown there then we have to worry about what could happen or what we have to do.”

On why they are struggling on the goaline:
“If I had the answer, we wouldn’t be having this problem.  We have to go back to our redzone offense and run our redzone offense.  If we run that, then we won’t have to worry about it.”

On his whether the offense is back to full strength:
“When you have all of the guys back healthy, especially guys like Kevin [Curtis] and Reggie [Brown], those experienced guys who have been in this offense as starters, that’s just an added bonus.  You can’t take away from Greg Lewis, you can’t take away from Jason Avant, and obviously DeSean Jackson, but when you can have all of your guys back in the game and give them opportunities to make plays for you that’s a bonus for us.  When we give L.J. the ball early and then we give Brent Celek a couple catches, that’s another weapon that we have at our tight-end position.  The list goes on of just trying to spread around and get everybody involved.  We’ve been able to do that for the last couple of weeks and we definitely need to continue that and elevate it a little more.”

On winning after the bye-week:
“It’s very big.  It’s big for us in the situation we’re in in the NFC East.  We can control our destiny, maybe with a couple losses from other teams.  The only thing we can focus on is what we are doing out here and hopefully we can continue to feed off each win and elevate ourselves in the standings in the NFC East and put ourselves in the position to achieve the goal we all have set out for.  At this particular point, it’s just one game at a time and we go into Seattle and hopefully have the same mindset and elevate our play and production and be able to sit at the end of the Seattle game hopefully with a smile on our faces.

On his vision:
“I am okay.  It gave me an opportunity to come up here and sit with some sunglasses and kind of look cool for a game.”

On what was said after Lawyer Milloy’s play on L.J. Smith:
“I know Lawyer and he’s a great guy.  I don’t look at him as a dirty player.  He was so apologetic after the game and explained how it wasn’t his intention and he apologized to L.J.  You just want to see nothing but great health from L.J. and want to see him bounce back up.  He looked good in the locker room, but it is a devastating play as a teammate to see.  It is tough for anybody.”

On how the NFL should look after a quarterbacks well-being:
“I think that they do a pretty good job.  I think that they should continue to take care of quarterbacks.”

On whether the coaches told him to run the ball:
“As a quarterback, you just want to make plays.  If it is a pass play call, be able to execute the pass play.  If it is a running play, get the ball to the running back.  If nothing is there, if you have the ability to do it, just kind of use your ability.  I’ve been doing it for years.  You just want to give the guys outside an opportunity to win for you and that’s something that I’ve tried to do this year of establishing that trust with those guys that they have the confidence that the ball will be out of my hands and coming to them before they come out of their break.  In those situations where I did run I had pressure in my face and just tried to avoid that and tried to pick up as many yards as I could.”

Running Back Brian Westbrook

On the offense clicking at the right time:
“Things started going well. We got a little bit of rhythm. We were able to complete some balls as well as use our running game pretty well today. So when you’re able to execute and complete passes as well as run the ball, you’re keeping the defense off balance and you’ll have some success.”

On how he felt coming off his injury:
“I felt really good. I’m blessed to be back. It feels good to be back. My ankle held up pretty well, my ribs held up pretty well. Things went well for me.”

On whether he felt any effects from the injury today:
“From time to time throughout the game, but those are the type of things you got to try to play through.”

On having things not go the Eagles way before, but being on the other end of that today:
“Yeah, you know, in the NFL in games and in seasons, the pendulum goes both ways.  You’re going to have some things that don’t go your way. You’re going to have some goofy things like you said that are going to go your way. And today it swung our way and hopefully it stays on our side a little bit.”

On whether he talked before the game about being primed for a big day today:
“I don’t remember saying anything. I was just, I know that I believed in myself. I believed that, I believe the truth. And the truth is that I’ve worked my butt off to get back. I continue to believe that God has placed me here for a reason and with that I had the opportunity to go out there and play. Our team did a great job of giving me opportunities. The offensive line did a great job of blocking, tight ends, fullback, receivers downfield. And coach Reid continued to give me the ball. I’m happy to be a part of coach Reid’s 100th win.”

On being disappointed about having two goal line chances that didn’t pan out:
“I’m happy about the win. It’s definitely, even in wins there’s things that you can get better at. So there’s definitely things that we can work on and things we will work on and get better at. So those are just part of the game and we will get better. We have room to improve and we will do that.”

On the problems on the goal line this year and whether it’s frustrating for the team:
“It’s disappointing, but like I said it’s one of those things we’re going to continue to work on, continue to get better at and we’ll move on to next week.”

On whether he felt as if he was over on the first try at the goal line:
“I definitely felt like I was in. The referee said that he had me down before I got into the end zone, so you know it’s one of those calls that the referee made.”

On how much more effective the offense is when it has a mobile QB Donovan McNabb:
“It makes a difference, all the difference in the world when you have a guy back there with the arm that Donovan has, but also the ability to scramble, to make plays when there’s no receivers open. It makes all the difference in the world and now you can really see when he’s healthy what he can do as far as scrambling and throwing the ball downfield.”

On whether now is the time for the team to make a move:
“We need to get on the run right now, we need to have the opportunity, we have the opportunity to go up to Seattle and play a pretty good team and have to go out there and try to handle our business. We have to try to execute the same way we did today, try to minus out those errors that we made and win the football game. That’s what we’re going to do for the rest of the season. We’re going to play together as a team and we’re going to try to fight and win football games.”

On what it was like to have a big game today:
“I felt good. I had the opportunity, coach gave me some opportunities. We saw some things on tape that we felt we could take advantage of and we did a good job executing those things.”

On his reaction to S Lawyer Milloy’s hit on TE L.J. Smith:
“It was a tough play. It was one of those hits that was borderline questionable a little bit. But just even talking to Lawyer [Milloy] after the play, he was very apologetic about it. You know, he wanted me to express that to L.J. [Smith] and from what he said he doesn’t seem like that type of guy to take a dirty hit on a guy and that’s really what I thought about it as well.”

On whether there’s some sort of retribution after a hit like that:
“It’s part of the game. You go out there, you play your football game and if you have the opportunity to help out, try to help out, try to get some revenge on a guy in a legal way then you’ll do that, but it’s not – hits are part, those types of hits are part of the game. Unfortunately L.J. got hurt because of it.”

On whether the retribution is like baseball:
“No, this is football.”

On why, other than his injuries, he might not have been dialed up in past games this year as much as today:
“You know, I think a lot of those games Donovan was having so much success, it’s hard to take the ball out of a Pro Bowler’s hands everytime. He’s throwing the ball around, he’s doing a great job passing the ball. Today he did a great job of throwing the ball and running the ball, so hopefully we’ll continue to have the opportunity to run the ball in the future.”

On the impact of offensive sets with both Westbrook and RB Correll Buckhalter in the backfield:
“It gets more playmakers on the field. Correll has the opportunity to, he has the ability to block in the fullback position as well as catch the ball out of the backfield and of course he has the skill to run the ball too. So the defense needs to check more players on the field.”

Wide Receiver Desean Jackson

On the offense’s production late in the first half:
“It was one of those tough games. It was 0-0 for a while. They scored first and we just felt like we needed to do something to get a spark. We just kept being patient, stayed together and we were able to come out on top.”

On QB Donovan McNabb being able to hit receivers:
“Early in the game, we had a lot of things planed. We tried to get deep on them and make a big play, we just had to take and give. Sometimes, we are not able to make every play. The thing about this team is that we are going to keep on trying and not give up. We have a lot of players on this team that are capable of doing a lot of good things. We stuck with it, didn’t panic and stayed within ourselves.”

On the end of the game and whether it was a gut-check situation:
“We knew how important this game was. We didn’t want to go down 3-4. We got a big win before the bye against 49ers and we wanted to keep that momentum going. There are going to be times that we play ugly and things are not going to be all gold and glitter. We just have to stick together as a team. That is what we do; we don’t get down on ourselves. We just keep going.”

On the play of RB Brian Westbrook:
“Like I told him on the field, ‘you’re cold.’ He’s a good running back. I really admire that dude. He’s an awesome running back. Any time you have a RB like that in your back field it just makes it easier for [the receivers]. With him and [RB Correll] Buckhalter, it just made us feel comfortable. If it wasn’t for him breaking that long run, we might not be in this position. Whatever we need to do to get it done that is what we are doing. I am glad he’s back.”

Center Jamaal Jackson

On the importance of getting Brian Westbrook reps during the game:
“That is always good. We, as an offensive line, we count the reps our RB has. We always say that if he gets 20 carries, he will get 100-yards. It has held true to this point. We will take it.”

On Westbrook being excited before the game and him hyping up the offense:
“He was ready. Missing the San Francisco game and then having the bye, that kind of gave him rest to recuperate. It helped tremendously. He was fired up and ready to go.”

Left Tackle Tra Thomas

On being tired and after the bye week:
“I think everybody was tired, because coming off a bye week, you haven’t played football and you kind of lose a bit of your wind. I think everybody got a little tired and we just had to dig down and push a little harder.”

On his view of the muffed punt in the 4th quarter:
“Hey, thank you. Sometimes you get them and sometimes you don’t. This time we got one. We made the best of it.”

On how Donovan’s moving around the pocket helps the offense:
“That helps a lot, because the defense can’t tee off, knowing he’s just going to sit back there. That changes up the rush a bit when you know you have a quarterback that can move around. I think that helped a lot for us.”

On whether it was good to see Donovan move around:
“Yeah, but we don’t want him to have to do it often. We just have to keep doing our job. But sometimes, it’s gonna be a time where he is going to have to cut up field and make something happen. We were glad to see him do that.”

On the performance of the offensive line today:
“I think our coaches did a great job of calling the right plays so we could get a man on them, stretch it out and get some holes in there. I think [offensive line coach] Juan [Castillo] and [offensive coordinator] Marty [Mornhinweg] did a good job of putting together the right plays for us. Everything just worked out.”

Wide Receiver Kevin Curtis

On how it felt to get back on the field and whether he felt like he could do everything he wanted:
“No, it was just a matter of getting back out there. It is a different pace and tempo. It’s a whole different speed out there. I haven’t really played a game like that since last season. It was good to get my feet wet out there. I was glad I was able to play a lot of snaps. I was not able to stay in as much as I usually would. I didn’t have quite the stamina and endurance, but I was able to play quite a bit of the game. I definitely feel like I got my feet wet and I think I am going to be more prepared next week because of it.”

On whether he had nerves going into the game:
“I was just anxious to get out there. I really didn’t have nerves, but it seems like I was just anxious to get out there and for the game to start. It is the end of October and it’s my first game of the year for me, so I am just looking forward to getting one under my belt and start getting into that mode.”

On whether he felt the adrenalin:
“Yeah, definitely. I think I had it going a little too early. It was great to get out there.”

On whether there was any hesitation on his part once he got out there:
“I tried not to hesitate with anything. It’s a game and you have to go all out. It took me some time to get used to everything. But I tried to get out there and play without hesitation.”

Cornerback Asante Samuel

On today being a good day for the Eagles secondary:
“It was a good, aggressive day for us. We worked hard in practice this week. We just concentrated on driving on the ball and playing good Eagle football.”

On whether he was challenged as much today as he has been all season:
“They did challenge me a lot more than you guys actually saw. There were a couple of plays that they tried to do some double moves on me and some quick passes that the quarterback pulled down from. It was a good challenge for me today.”

On whether he expected the challenge:
“I expect that every game. I don’t go into a game thinking that a team is not going to throw on me. I just go out there and try to play good, fundamental football.”

On what he saw from Falcons QB Matt Ryan that the defense was able to take advantage of:
“He’s a young quarterback and he’s got a lot to learn, but he’s a very good, young quarterback. It’s just playing ball. We did a good job of studying film on him this week. We kind of knew what they were going to do, so it worked out well.”

On head coach Andy Reid saying that he studies a lot of film:
“I put my share in. I might not look at it like others look at it, but I look at film the way I know how to make myself make plays. I do my share.”

On the play of CB Lito Sheppard:
“It was awesome. I am so happy for him. It was a heck of a play. He actually did the same thing at practice. A fade was thrown on him to [WR] Hank Baskett. Lito turned around the same exact way and picked it. I told him that I was glad I came out on that, because I would not have made that play.”

On the 3 starting cornerbacks:
“All 3 of us are playmakers. 2 of us have been to the Pro Bowl. We are all playmakers. We just go out there and play good ball.”

On the play of Brian Westbrook:
“That guy is incredible. I just love to watch him play, the way he makes people miss and shake them. I am happy he’s on my team. I am happy I don’t have to tackle him.”

Cornerback Lito Sheppard:

On how gratifying it was to get an interception after being called for pass interference:
“It was big Asante went down and as soon as I got out there I figured they would take a shot.  I thought it was incidental contact in the first place but they gave it to me.  I was glad they gave me a chance to make up right back.  I was hoping they did.”

On whether he expected the Falcons to throw the fade route:
“Well I was in good leverage and I got a good jam on him.  When I got the jam on him I took a peek at the quarterback.  He kind of lobbed it up there so it gave me enough time to turn around and react to it.”

On what it takes to be successful against the fade route:
“It’s your line of scrimmage jam.  If you can get in good position in the beginning and see the ball thrown that makes it a lot easier to play those fade routes.

On limiting RB Michael Turner and putting the game in the hands of the secondary:
“We knew they had a potent offense.  In order for us to have a chance we knew we had to take one of their dimensions away.  We’d rather take the running game away and play to our strengths.  We were able to come up with a lot of plays in the secondary today to come up with a victory.”

On the success of the Eagles following the bye week:
“It gives us a lot of time to get healthy and get our minds back together and come out with intensity.  The first part of the season hasn’t been going like we planned it, so this is basically another opportunity to start all over again and look at it as a new season.”

On Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan:
“He’s going to be a good quarterback.  I mean he throws the ball up there to a lot of places where only his receivers can make plays.  As long as he keeps doing that and they keep making plays for him he can be something special.  I take my hat off to him.  Even though we were after him the whole game he still made some good throws and they made some plays down the field too.”

Defensive End Trent Cole

On today’s win:
“We knew we wanted to go out here and get it done.  We knew we could play to the best of our ability and we went out there and got it done today.”

On what is necessary to keep going:
“We’ve got to get back to practice and have some good practices and come out next week with a bang.”

On the effort to contain Falcons RB Michael Turner:
“I think the guys played well today keeping gap control and keeping him contained and keeping him from getting loose.  He might have broken a couple but not real far down field so I think we did a good job of containing him.

On the tackles stopping plays in the middle:
“They did a great job of getting up in there and closing the gaps.  The guy wanted to come outside and I’m on the edge, my thought is keeping contain too.  He wanted to take it to the edge and I just did the job I was supposed to do”

On why the Eagles’ are so successful after bye week:
“Just rest, mentally, physically, just rest.  I felt great coming into this week.  The bye week is the best.  You feel like you’re just starting the season out, like you’re just coming into mini-camp.  You get fresh legs like summer camp.  It’s great to be back seeing everybody.  Coming into this week we knew we had to have a good week
and get our minds back into football mode and that’s what we did.”

On the coming weeks game:
“We’re just going to keep on a roll and keep pushing forward.  We’re all use to coming off a bye week and playing another game.  You know we beat up our bodies and we’ll take these two days off here and come back Wednesday and get on top of our game.”

Defensive Coordinator Jim Johnson

On the performance of the defense:
“I think we did a pretty good job.  I think outside of the one pass where he scrambled and the guy broke a couple of tackles, I think we did a pretty good job.”

On controlling the Falcons running game:
“I said it before it was tackling and making sure we were in good gap control.  We were most of the game.  We had one bad play against us and we tackled well.  We had a lot of people running to the football and we tackled well.

On whether he was relieved after the muff call against the Falcons:
“I anticipated that would go the other way and we were going to have to stop them.  I don’t even think about that.  I never think about that.  I say “Hey, wait we’ve got to go out and stop them.  I don’t want to be scared. ”

On containing the Falcons’ offense:
“It’s kind of a combination.  We blitzed a little bit, but we went back.  It depends, its game management, how many time outs they have left, you don’t want to give up a big play if they do blitz.  It’s just time management; make them work the whole length of the field.  That’s part of it.”

On Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan:
“I think he’s a good quarterback.  I think he’s got a lot of poise.  I know he threw a couple of interceptions, we got a couple of sacks but he’s a good quarterback.  He’ll get better.  He sees things pretty good he’s got a nice arm.”

On trying get pressure on Matt Ryan:
“Well, we tried.  He gets rid of the ball fast.  He gets rid of the ball pretty fast.  Especially in the first half he did a good job of getting rid of the ball.”

Linebacker Omar Gaither

On the performance of the defense:
“I think in the third quarter we did a good job and that was key for us.  I think that certainly contributed to our win.”

On the Eagles defensive plan:
“Well, anytime you have a rookie quarterback you want to throw as much at him as you can.  We wanted to get after him.  I was just talking to [DE] Trent Cole and he was saying “Oh my God it feels so good to come off a bye. You feel fresh.  Did you feel that? Did you have a little more spring in your step?”  Certainly.  I think we come out every week with energy but obviously the bye week you get a chance to go home and rest and kind of get away from things for a while.  It was good for us and we got a win so it worked out great.”

On what he learned about the team over the bye week:
“I learned that we’re still focused and we still have a long way to go.  We’re trying to take advantage of where we are right now.  Everybody saw what happened over the bye week with the other teams and we want to take advantage.  We have a great opportunity and like I said we want to take advantage.”

On if he had seen the cover of Game Day magazine:
“The cover of Game Day Magazine?  You mean this?  Yeah I saw.  They had the three LB’s on there.  I kind of liked that.  I think it’s the first time since I’ve been here they had the linebackers on there.  That’s pretty special.”

Linebacker Chris Gocong

On coming off the bye week:
“We were rested and we really knew how we were going to play coming into this game.  We executed.”

On the performance of Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan:
“Yeah, yeah he’s a good player.  Except for a few sacks he made, he made some amazing plays.  I think he’s going to be a great quarterback going on.”
