FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The NFL announced suspensions for six players late Tuesday afternoon. According to NFL.com, the league's chief counsel asked for additional information regarding Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jackson.
The team issued the following statement Tuesday evening:
"NFL Chief Counsel Jeff Pash notified our club today that a decision regarding Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jackson’s suspension appeal has been deferred pending additional information. We are unable to comment further on any aspect of the NFL’s Drug Policy."
