Career
Finished second on the team in receiving in each of the last three years after earning a starting role in 2005.

In 2006, Jenkins (seven) and Crumpler (eight) became the first Falcons tandem to record at least seven touchdown catches apiece in a single season for Atlanta since Terance Mathis (nine) and Eric Metcalf (eight).


2007 (Falcons)
Notched 53 receptions for 532 yards and four touchdowns in his fourth year with the team.

Tallied a season-high 76 receiving yards on six receptions vs. Carolina (9/23).

Started at wide receiver and posted six catches for 64 yards with a career-high two touchdowns vs. Houston (9/30).

Notched a career-high nine receptions for a team-high 73 yards vs. Tampa Bay (11/18).

Tied a career-high with nine grabs for a career-high 83 yards vs. New Orleans (12/10) and added one touchdown.


2006 (Falcons)
Started all 16 games for the first time in his career and registered 436 receiving yards on a then career-high 39 catches with a career-high seven touchdowns.

Led team with 77 receiving yards (25.7 avg.) on three receptions, which included a 34-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter in the season opener at Carolina (9/10).

Collected three grabs for 53 yards (17.7 avg.) and one touchdown at Cincinnati (10/29).


2005 (Falcons)
Saw action in 14 games with 12 starts and finished third on the team with 36 catches and 508 receiving yards, while also recording three touchdown grabs and a team-long 58-yard reception.

Made first career start vs. Philadelphia (9/12) and led the team with 80 yards on three catches, which included a season-long 58-yard grab.

Posted first career touchdown catch at Buffalo (9/25) as he tallied 48 receiving yards on four receptions.

Recorded 69 receiving yards and one touchdown on five catches vs. Tampa Bay (11/20).


2004 (Falcons)
Played in all 16 games, recording seven receptions for 119 yards. His 17.0 average led the team and his eight special teams tackles ranked fourth.

Made first NFL reception for a gain of 46 yards at Denver (10/31).


College
Three-year starter at Ohio State, starting 38 of his final 39 games. Caught 165 passes for 2,898 yards (17.6 avg.) and 16 touchdowns in his career. Finished career with at least one reception in 38 consecutive games. Helped OSU capture National Championship in 2002.

His 2,898 yards rank eighth on the Big Ten Conference’s career-record list, while also topping the previous school all-time record of 2,855 by David Boston (1996–98).

Earned All-Big Ten Conference honorable mention as a senior after leading the team with 55 receptions for 834 yards (15.2 avg.) and seven touchdowns. Added 178 yards and one touchdown on 20 punt returns.

All-Big Ten Conference second-team choice as a junior after leading the team with a career-high 61 receptions for 1,076 yards (17.6 avg.) and six touchdowns.


Personal
Lettered in football, basketball and track at Leto (Tampa, FL) High School and competed at receiver, halfback, safety, cornerback and linebacker.

Voted Track Athlete of the Year in Tampa as a senior as he competed in the 200, 400 and triple jump.

Born Michael Gerard Jenkins on June 18, 1982 in Tampa, Florida.

He and his wife, Tamara, have one son, Brendan Michael Jenkins.
